When designing the room where the game would take place I wanted it functionally to provide the player multiple paths, and the ability to throw items through an opening, I didn't want there to be a straight direct path from the container to the window though as I wanted the player to have a tougher time navigating with a cursed item

Aesthetically I wanted there to be a juxtaposition between the "real world" and the limbo world. To try accomplish this I wanted the room to be full of bright colours whereas Limbo will just be a pitch black.
